Antique Japanese Mechanical Cigarette Dispenser Metal Crane Art Deco 1920's

Very attractive cigarette dispenser. Circa 1920s. It kinda works when I press on the button but only half, I think it needs to be looked at, doesn't work as it should. Measures approx 14cm in height with the bird, and base 14x11cm. Thanks for looking- great item !
