Purnell’s History of The Second World War COMPLETE SET 8 Volumes

Price

£175.00

Complete set of Purnell’s History of the Second World War, published 1966–1968 in collaboration with the Imperial War Museum and edited by Barrie Pitt.

All 8 volumes bound in original black hardback binders with gold embossed spines. Each volume contains 16 weekly issues, richly illustrated with photographs, maps, and detailed accounts of campaigns across Europe, Africa, and the Pacific.

The does not just include the original 6, but the additional 2 extra volumes.

Condition: Clean pages, tight bindings, minor shelf wear consistent with age.

One volume has three pages with a name written on the corner in pen, and there is the odd scratch and scuff to the front of some of the binders. But ultimately in a good condition for an entire complete set.

A rare opportunity to acquire the full reference set, ideal for collectors and WWII historians.

I am also selling the volumes individually so please check if you need less than the full set. Obviously if anyone buys part of the set this listing will be ended so it is only available until somebody buys a volume.
